eProfile is an online career resource and résumé manager. The website was Initially developed to assist Computer Engineering graduates of Polytechnic University of the Philippines with their career hunting and job applications. The website features articles and resources about career development and job searching.
Website sections
eProfile Browser
The website is consist primarily of résumés (e-Profile) posted by registered members. Each member has their own e-Profile presenting their educational background, work experience, skills, and other career-related and personal information.
These résumés are published publicly and can be browsed and viewed by all visitors of the website.
Articles/Resources
e-Profile offers a collection of articles with topics that are focused on career management and include tips and guides for all job seekers.
Website Features
User Control Panel
Each registered user can create and edit their own e-Profile through the control panel. This is where they upload their photos and modify their account details.
The website administrator, on the other hand, can log-in to the site to manage all e-Profiles. The control panel enables him to edit and delete e-Profiles and create new user accounts.
e-Profile Search
Website visitors may look through a complete list of all active e-Profiles or perform a user search to quickly find a specific résumé. Searches can be done by entering the name of the student or his student number.
Technical Details
e-Profile was developed using ASP 3.0 and uses a Microsoft Access Database in storing user account details and profile information.
